Crysis 2 Demo Multiplayer Download page, Crysis & Crysis 2 for PC from EA Games. While Steam has now a workaround, we continue with a new ported Origin game: Crysis 2 for Mac! I was quite impressed how well the game runs on even my medium end Intel Iris iMac! I recently ported the First Crysis as well, so this one is a real welcoming as well. I added a recording of some gameplay of the game in Porting Kit.

Welcome to the “Crysis 2” for Mac game page. This page contains information + tools how to port Crysis 2 (only $4,- at the moment) so you can play it on your Mac just like a normal application. This game is already available in the Porting Kit. Porting Kit is the new application which “ports” the game to your Mac. The video and download links in the slider are outdated and won’t work on OS X 10.11+. To fix/update it, install the game with the Porting Kit visit its page here.

Notes:
Download the Origin Wrapper using Porting Kit and login with your Origin account. Then first go to your preferences of Origin and turn off “Origin Ingame” or the gameswill not launch properly. Then add Crysis 2 Origin serial of Kinguin into Origin. Download it –> then play and have fun. Below you find a gameplay video, playing the game on a medium-end Intel Iris Pro iMac. A medium-end/High-end Mac is a must to get best user expierence of the game.

Simple Install Instructions:
– Download Porting Kit (if you don’t have it already).
– Get the Crysis 2 serial (only $4,- at the moment, if you don’t have it already)
– On the Porting Kit library –> server tab search for Crysis
– Click “Install” and let Porting Kit install the Windows Origin.
– After successful installation login into Origin and add the serial
– Go to your preferences of Origin and turn off “ingame Origin” and “Automatically update the game” (select-box). If you don’t do that, the game will freeze at launch. So make sure this is turned off , also when playing any other game in Origin. Then click play to start (will ask to update, don’t do that).
– Download the game and launch the game! Yep thats it!

Enhance your copy of Crysis 2 with the DirectX 11 Ultra Upgrade. A three-part release, the Ultra Upgrade introduces tessellation to Crytek’s first-person shooter and upgrades a whole host of graphical effects.

If your copy of Crysis 2 works through EA Download, EA Origin, Steam, or another digital distribution service with uniquely protected game executables do not download the file labelled Patch 1.9 as your copy will have to receive the patch through their services. You are free to download the DirectX 11 update and high resolution packs, however, as they work with all versions of the game – just ensure you’re patched to version 1.9 before installing them.

DirectX 11 Ultra Upgrade

The DX11 Ultra Upgrade is a free visual improvement add-on introducing DirectX 11 support as well as a wealth of graphical improvements and performance optimization for both DX11 and DX9 API's.

High Resolution Texture Pack

Crysis 2 Free Download

This package provides higher texture resolution for a wide variety of assets. It supports both the DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 versions of Crysis 2. A 64-bit operating system and a graphics card with at least 768 MB of memory are required.
